of principles and methods for sales activities and strategies, linked to the Golf Industry and/or the Hospitality Industry.?

The ideal candidate must have:

- Knowledge of business and management principles

- Be involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and co-ordination of people.

-Have a minimum 3 years experience in similar positions and environments.

Job Purpose:

Solicits group business from all market segments that enables the Estate to meet and/or

exceed group revenue goals in accommodation, food & beverage, and golf revenues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description Performance Indicators

Activities

_ Looks after new & existing accounts to meet or exceed revenue goals

_ Methods may include but are not limited to, telephonic, outside sales calls,
sales presentations, site inspections. Meetings, travelling to key markets and written correspondence

_ Professionally represent the Estate in the community and industry organisations and events

Product Knowledge

_ To have a thorough knowledge on product offering ? Golf, Accommodation, & F&B facilities

_ To have a thorough knowledge of all Pearl Valley facilities and products and Rates

Planning & Reporting

_ Monthly sales report

_ Annual goals

_ Sales budget

_ Forecasts

_ Annual Sales plan

_ Business Plan

Time Management

Ensures time is managed well to including duties as, Soliciting Business, Correspondence,
meetings, events & maintaining a thorough knowledge of market trends

Pricing

Assists in developing rates, group ceilings and deployment strategies through review
of competitive data, demand analysis & yield management

Meetings

_ Conducts or attends meetings as scheduled

? Pre- Function, Management, Sales & Marketing Meetings etc

- Client meetings as & when required

Communication

_ Internal - Departmental

_ External ? Clients & Suppliers

Revenue Maximisation

In Conjunction with F&B Director and Golf Director review yearly GAP?s with regard to GOLF
and F&B and devise a action plan for yielding more business

HR/Staff

_ Manager the Events Coordinators

_ Schedule weekly/monthly staff meetings

_ Communicate goals, budget & targets to meet

Additional duties

Maintains flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by senior management
