Childhood obesity. We know it?s bad ? and for more reasons than just a slower time across the soccer field. Find out how obesity at an early age can negatively effect children?s health in the short-term and in the long-term and what you can do to create a healthy lifestyle for your own kids at a free women?s only seminar at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano on Tuesday, August 14 from 7?8pm.

Angela Mix, DO (doctor of osteopathy) and pediatrician, will lead the seminar, one in Texas Health Plano?s year-long series called Women?s Health Connection. You?ll get a chance to talk with Mix and other mothers about your concerns and ask questions. You?ll also learn tips on how to make healthy school lunches and snacks for the kids at home.

Seating is limited so call 877/847-9355 to register or visit www.texashealth.org/womenshealthconnection. There you can check out seminars on more topics on childbirth and family education, CPR, fitness, and wellness and prevention.
